Our Services

  • Rescue

We have no idea what the next day will bring. We get called out to dogs that have fallen down a well, others that are simply abandoned on the side of a road and are waiting for their owner to come back. But we know the owner never will. Some of the dogs we rescue are sick with Mediterranean diseases and have been left until they are so sick it costs us so much money to get them treated. But we carry on.

  • Placement

We try our best to place a dog with a good match for a family, but it doesn’t always work out. We accept that. The dogs we have often have been through a traumatic time, and they have no way of telling us what has happened to them in their past. In the shelter they become institutionalised and so when they go to a new home they need patience, patience, patience, before they can settle in. Could you offer one of our dogs the security it needs to blossom and come out of its shell? If so, please get in touch by clicking on the button and filling in the Adoption Form.

  • Protection

The dogs we get at our shelter can be left tied to the gate, left in a cellar to starve, or left in an olive grove chained up with their mother who has died and they are just puppies. The trauma they have been through is horrible. We love all of our dogs and care for each of them as if they are our own. One of our volunteers even kisses the dogs good night he loves them so much. We love and protect them but our greatest hope is that they will find a forever home that will take them in, make allowances for their behaviour and simply love and care for them like we do. Could that be you? if so please get in touch bu clicking on the button and filling in the adoption form.
